The ake, the german nut council, is an association of importers, processors, and other companies working with nuts, mainly from Germany and the Netherlands. It is at the same time a source for information, and a contact address for all matters concerning the nut branch.

Within the ake, members exchange ideas and experiences. Also, the ake provides a contact for the statutory forces in Germany as well as for international companies and associations.
